Saggar Firing Workshop

Everything you need to know to get started in the world of lowfire ceramic fuming. This workshop is in two parts. The first is class room where we learn the process, including things like making terra sigilata, burnishing, firing and safety. Each person will receive half a bag of clay. Then everyone has a couple of weeks to make and bisque work. We come back together for a full day of building saggars and firing with all materials provided. We keep class sizes small so you get lots of kiln space. No studio access is included, and if you need us to bisque your work please let us know, there will be an additional small fee.
